The fact that Beseder Gallery organizes musical events in addition to exhibitions is no longer a novelty and from September we will again continue to offer quality artists.
Now, however, we are introducing yet another type of concerts. Listeners will have the opportunity to hear a selection of bands playing funk, neo soul, hip hop, fusion and other genres based on groove rhythms. In consultation with the exhibitors, we would arrange the gallery space a little differently for this event, with chairs and tables on the sides and an open space in the middle where people can stand, dance or move in any way the music moves them to.

This new series of concerts will kick off on September 13 with Groovelife and Hi-Def, a band that, as the name suggests, consists of two main members. Serbian jazz pianist and keyboardist Dusan Kovacevic, who also produces electronic hip hop music under the name Groovelife, and rapper, singer and songwriter David "Hi-Def" Tuscher, originally from Arizona, USA, who has been based in Prague for many years after London, New York and several other places in Europe.

The duo releases both electronic hip-hop music and music played with a full band, which currently consists of the aforementioned duo and two other members, top Czech professionals Marek Urbánek on drums and Samuel Kuba on bass guitar.

Listeners can look forward to heavy funk and hip hop grooves, lush jazz chords and solos, and plenty of freestyle rapping.

The gallery doors will open at 7:00 pm and the concert will start at 8:00 pm.
