When Passover comes to an end and strict restrictions are left behind, Mimouna arrives - a celebration of open doors, sweets, and the joy of returning to simplicity. It is an evening when tension fades, giving way to generosity, laughter, and the feeling of sharing a meal together.

Mimouna originated in North African Jewish tradition and has always been a festival of hospitality. On this evening, homes were thrown open to neighbours and friends. Tables were filled with pastries, sweets, honey, fruit, music, and laughter. The world became open again - lighter and more generous: one could be oneself, could share, could simply be together. Worries and boundaries disappeared, along with conventions. Everyone could feel the joy of meeting, trust, and a readiness to accept one another as they are.
At Beseder Gallery, Mimouna will take the form of a warm, living gathering, without lectures or formalities - with traditional treats, music, and the chance simply to be together after the intense days of Passover. It is a celebration of transition: from strictness to abundance, from structure to freedom, to shared joy.
Mimouna is not explained.
It is welcomed - with an open table and an open heart.
